This works fine. For the money I got everything I expected.However it does not have an eject button for the CF card and in fact does not work without a CF card in it, leading to some initial problems

If you use compact flash cards with a laptop, then this is an ideal way to transfer your files and far faster than often more expensive USB readers. Use it with 40x Compact Flash cards for top performance and at this price its an absolute gem.I use it with a Mac PowerBook G3/300 and if it works with that, it should work fine on anything newer. Some groups have even recommended using them on laptops with 1GB+ CF cards as permanent, low-power startup drives, or RAM disks.

Why have I waited until now!! |

Brilliant. Great price. So simple. Makes downloading from CompactFlash Cards direct and simple and countless times quicker than my old serial cable downloading from the camera. Too good to do without! Im going to keep a closer eye on whats available in future. Go for a spare 64mb + card too.
